Our friends, Jourdan and Corey just became the last couple in our bible study to have a baby this year.

That's right, every single woman in our bible study had a baby within a 365 day period.

Little Reese Marie Von Merveldt just made the cut off.

The birth of our Henry kicked off the baby boom on August 6, 2011 and Reese came along exactly 365 days later on August 5, 2012, with five other babies' births squished between.

What a life changing year for our small group (and I swear we didn't all get together and plan it).

Like Christian and I, Jourdan and Corey didn't want to spend a fortune having professional newborn pictures taken, and Jourdan knows I love an excuse to play with my camera, so she asked if I could get a few shots of their little girl when she arrived.

I am actually going to go to their house next week and take more but I snapped a few at the hospital that I just had to share now.

She was less than 20 hours old when I visited and already so alert!

Oh, and she is gorgeous, from the top of her thick-haired little head, to the tips of her wrinkly, pink toes.
